This describes exactly what Fightprint collects and why — matching what the product actually does, not a generic template. No tracking cookies, no ad pixels, no analytics scripts, no selling your data. That's not a slogan, it's just what's actually in the code.
Account information: your email address, a hashed password (we never store or can see your actual password), date of birth (used once, to confirm you're 18+, per the age requirement below), and optionally a display name, belt rank, weight class, and gym affiliation.
Training data: whatever you log — positions, transitions, outcomes, an optional training partner identifier, and timestamps. This is yours; see "Your data" below.
Roster members (coach-logged rolls): if a gym owner uses the academy dashboard's roster feature, we store a first name and a single last initial for each roster member they add — nothing else. No email, no birthdate, no password, and no way for that person to sign in; every roll logged against a roster member is entered by the gym's own coach, never by the roster member themselves. This exists so a gym can track people too young to meet the age requirement below without us ever collecting anything that identifies a minor.
Newsletter: if you sign up in the footer, we keep your email address, where you signed up, and the IP address of that signup — used only to prevent abuse of the signup form, not to track you.
Automatically, from any request: your IP address, used only to rate-limit abuse on login, registration, password reset, and newsletter signup. It is not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and we don't run analytics scripts that would do that either.
Transactional email (welcome messages, password resets) is sent through Burst, an email relay operated by Graylight Creative — the same team that built and runs Fightprint's infrastructure. It's used solely to deliver the emails described above.
We do not sell your personal data, to anyone, ever.
The training data you log is yours. You can request a copy or deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing [email protected] — this is currently a manual process, not yet a self-serve button, and we'll say so plainly if that changes.
Every newsletter email includes a working one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from future sends immediately.
Fightprint is for people 18 and older, checked against the date of birth you provide at registration — no exceptions. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. A gym's coach can separately track roster members who don't meet that requirement — see "Roster members" above — but that never involves an account, a birthdate, an email, or any other contact information from that person.
Account and training data is kept for as long as your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it. Roster member labels (first name, last initial) are kept until the gym's owner archives or removes that entry. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. All traffic to fightprint.app runs over HTTPS. Access to the database and server infrastructure is restricted to the people operating the product.
If this changes in a way that meaningfully affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know directly.
